About TweetBird
TweetBird is a tiny tap-to-flap game that plays inside an X post. Post a tweetbird.fun link and the post itself becomes the game: tap to flap through the gaps without leaving the timeline.
Controls
- Tap, click or press Space (or ↑ / W) to flap.
- Fly through the gaps between the pipes. Each gap is +1.
- It speeds up a little every 10 points, and the gaps slowly get tighter.
- The game pauses when you scroll away or switch tabs. Tap to keep flying.
- Sound is off until you turn it on (speaker button, or M).
Daily rewards
Every 24 hours, the top 10 players on today's leaderboard get paid out $TweetBird creator rewards through X payments. Add your X handle when you save your name to be eligible. Winners are confirmed by @tweetbirdonx before each payout. The daily board resets at 00:00 UTC; the top 10 at reset are that day's winners.
Scores and challenges
There's a daily board (resets at 00:00 UTC) and an all-time board. When a score makes the board you can pick a name and, if you like, add your X handle (shown as plain text, nothing is linked to your account). Every score can be shared as a challenge link that's playable right in the post.
Scores are checked: the server replays every run with the same physics and only counts the score it gets.
Privacy
- No accounts and no X login.
- No ads and no tracking cookies. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, cookie-free page-view counts, and the game counts anonymous plays (the "flights today" number). The game inside X posts loads no analytics.
- Your name, best score and sound setting are kept in your own browser. The name and optional handle you choose for the leaderboard are public.
- IP addresses are used only briefly for rate limiting and aren't stored with scores.
